• High standards for product freshness and sanitation.
• Filling, maintaining, and rotating product displays.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

• Social Media Platforms: Social Media Manager shall manage the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok accounts for both German Deli and Biergarten (live events & restaurant and bar at Old World.
• Yelp Connect, Social Media Manager shall handle the Yelp Connect marketing for both German Deli and Biergarten.
• Email Platforms: Social Media Manager shall manage the email platforms for both Biergarten and German Deli using Audience Republic, square and toast.

2. Posting Schedule:

• Facebook, Instagram & Twitter: Social Media Manager shall make two posts per day for both German Deli and Biergarten on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Out of the 14 weekly posts for each platform, at least seven of those posts should be reels.
• Stories: Daily stories should be posted on both German Deli and Biergarten accounts. The in-house management team will also have access to post stories.

3. TikTok:

• Social Media Manager shall create 2-4 TikTok videos per week for both German Deli and Biergarten.

4. YouTube

• Social Media Manager shall post all reels created to YouTube Shorts for both German Deli and Biergarten.

5. Email Marketing:

• Social Media Manager shall send anywhere from 1-5 emails per week for both German Deli and Biergarten based on managements discretion through Audience Republic. Email and text campaigns through Toast and Square

6. Square & Toast:

• Social Media Manager shall create 1 email per week and/or offer on both Square and Toast for German Deli and Biergarten.

7. Yelp Connect:

• Social Media Manager shall post 1 update per week on Yelp Connect for Biergarten.

8. Customer Engagement:

• Social Media Manager shall engage with customers, respond to comments, and repost content at least 5 times per week across all platforms for both German Deli and Biergarten.

9. Events and Promotions:

• Social Media Manager shall create events on Facebook and Instagram for all events, concerts, festivals, etc for both German Deli and Biergarten.

10. Advertising:

• Social Media Manager shall place ads on Facebook Ads platform and Google and be responsible for their maintenance for both German Deli and Biergarten.

11. Influencer Outreach:

• Social Media Manager shall connect with influencers and micro-influencers to promote German Deli and Biergarten accounts.

12. Press and Media:

• Social Media Manager shall help with influencer and press parties and send out press releases.  Work closely with videographers Old World hires for specific shows or promotions.

13. Collaboration with Company Team Members:

• Social Media Manager shall work directly with Tyler (Entertainment Director), Rita (Food in Kitchen), Fabio for Bar, Arpeni, Cyndie & Carly (Events, Specials, Market), Ronin (Germandeli Online Dept), Keven (Bakery), and Dane (Deli).

14. SEO of BentoBox

• Manage the SEO of BentoBox. Ensure back end is up to par to market our website.

15. Hybrid work

• Agrees to be on site 3-5 days per week

The Biergarten at Old World Huntington Beach is seeking experienced and professional shot girls for OC’s Original Oktoberfest, a 2-month long party featuring bands from Germany, imported beers, and delicious German food! We have been hosting this event for over 4 decades and pride ourselves in being the best Oktoberfest in Orange County.

1. Ensure every guest is having an enjoyable and memorable experience at Oktoberfest.
2. All guests are to be served to Biergarten expectations and the Steps of Service for Cocktail Servers are followed.
3. Interacting with customers by selling them shots, making recommendations, providing them with accurate bills, processing payments, and supplying them with their requests in a timely manner.
4. Processing all payments in accordance with Biergarten policies. This includes cash handling.
5. It is the responsibility of the cocktail server to inquire with Management as to what pricing they are able to sell shots for. What discount, if any, is available.
6. Handling multiple tables and tasks in an efficient manner.
7. Maintaining clean and presentable tables and work area- minimal trash and empty glassware on tables during service hours.
8. Always keep a positive work attitude and friendly (approachable) demeanor with the ability to work well with coworkers and as a team when necessary.
9. During business hours, a cocktail server is never to be out of their section for more than 2 minutes at a time. The only time out of their section should be to pick up a new tray or use the restroom.
10. Maintain a polished professional appearance in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
11. Inform management of any additional resources needed. If overwhelmed and cannot give service to expectation, ask for assistance.
12. Immediately report any maintenance, security, and/or safety issues or concerns to a manager or security guard.
13. If a cocktail server at any time feels as though they are being harassed by a guest or group that is displaying offensive language or gestures, the server must let Management and/or security know immediately as it is not taken lightly. Management will address the issue immediately and remedy as seen fit. 

14. Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and client
15. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
16. Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers around them that may need
17. Ability to have extensive knowledge on the beverages we offer on the menu and the mastery of the food menu in order to guide guests towards choices that are best for them

We have been in business since 1978 and are home to the WORLD FAMOUS OKTOBERFEST. In addition, we feature live music concerts every Thursday through Sunday year-round and have a 10,000 sq. ft. open-air Biergarten. Currently, we are seeking part-time servers and bartenders. Line/Prep Cooks

Biergarten @ Old World Huntington Beach seeks LINE / PREP COOKS that have experience working in a kitchen.

Biergarten at Old World features a 10,000 sq ft. outdoor space and is a family-owned and operated business. Our kitchen makes everything from lunch to dinner, and we also have banquets and festivals, which our kitchen proudly prepares. The hours may vary and will range between 20-30 hours per week. We prefer someone with experience. Our kitchen makes German, Hungarian, and American Cuisine. We have been in business since 1978.

Sound Technicians

The Biergarten at Old World in Huntington Beach, CA, is looking for experienced Sound Technicians to work on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Experience with QU Series is a plus. All shifts are a minimum of 5 hours.

Job duties include:

• Setting up band monitors and adjusting levels for performers
• Running Front of House mix with a comfortable volume for patrons
• Monitoring volume levels with DB reader
