ORANGE COUNTY'S ICONIC OKTOBERFEST RETURNS FOR THE 47th ANNUAL CELEBRATION AT OLD WORLD, HUNTINGTON BEACH

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – July 16th – Dust off your lederhosen and get ready to raise your steins, Orange County’s iconic Oktoberfest is back for its 47th annual run at The Biergarten at Old World German Village. From Sunday, September 7th through November 9th, experience the lively spirit of Bavaria with festive music, authentic German food, and, of course, plenty of beer flowing every Wednesday through Sunday.

A CELEBRATION ROOTED IN TRADITION

Located in the heart of Huntington Beach, The Biergarten at Old World has been the hub of Southern California’s Oktoberfest celebrations since 1978. This year’s nine-week extravaganza promises non-stop entertainment featuring The Blue Birds & Marko, live Oom-Pah-Pah music straight from Europe, and proudly serving up the “Best Bratwurst” in California, as crowned by Hell’s Kitchen. Join charismatic MC Tommy Kazoo and the famous Shot Hostesses for a festive atmosphere where the motto truly is “Eat, Drink, Dance, and Be Merry.”

OKTOBERFEST FOR EVERY AGE AND TASTE

There’s something for everyone at this year’s Oktoberfest:

Wednesdays & Thursdays
Bring the whole family for an all-ages evening celebration (under 21 must be accompanied by a parent) from 6 PM to 10 PM.

Saturdays
Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon with Marko in the Biergarten, open to all ages from 11 AM to 4 PM (under 21 must be accompanied by a parent).

Fridays & Saturdays
The party heats up from 6 PM to 1:00 AM for those 21+ with valid ID. Expect lively contests like beer drinking and yodeling, plus appearances by the beautiful Shot Girls.

Sundays
Wrap up your weekend with an all-ages session from 12 PM to 7 PM, perfect for a relaxing day with family and friends.

Opening Day Fundraiser
Sunday, September 7th, 12 PM – 7 PM
Celebrate the kickoff while supporting a great cause! Proceeds benefit the Huntington Beach Kiwanis through exciting auctions and prizes.

German Day
Thursday, October 2nd, 6 PM – 10:30 PM
Join us as we honor German-American heritage and contributions to modern America. Guests can savor a delicious $10 meal (valued at $26), choosing between Oktoberfest Chicken or traditional Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Don’t miss the always-popular Wienerdog Races, where these speedy dachshunds dash across the cobblestone streets of Old World Village. Catch the action on September 7th & 21st, October 5th & 19th, and November 2nd. Parking for spectators is free, and race admission begins at just $8.
